New York City has taken full advantage of its waterfront Piers, each one offering a unique flavor while preserving the history and charm of the “Big Apple.” Some offer boat cruises around the island, and some include dinner. Another is famous as a concert venue, while others offer restaurants and bars, playgrounds, and sports areas and parks for family gatherings.
While a few Piers are located in Brooklyn, taking advantage of the Manhattan view, most Piers are located around the island of Manhattan, stretching along the Hudson and East Rivers. Without a doubt, all boast panoramic views of the City to including the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan Skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, and of course One World Trade Center.
